We have a better Glory

We have a better Glory:

For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth (2 Corinthians 3:9-10).

Glory is defined as the beauty of an element or an entity. The Glory of God refers to the beauty of God and anything that sets Him apart as the most High God. Glory also means pure light. In Exodus 34, God requested that Moses meets Him on Mount Sinai for the Ten Commandment. Moses spent forty days and forty nights on Mount Sinai to receive the Ten Commandments.

After the forty days and forty nights, as Moses descended from the Mount, his face shone and the people of Israel could not behold Moses or come near Moses (Exodus 34:30). This is awesome! Moses had to use a veil to cover his face. We can learn something important from here- anytime we spend time with God through His word in meditation and prayer, the Glory of God is activated in our lives. The word of God is Life and Spirit and always works when we mix it with our faith. The word of God is full of Glory. If you want to experience the Glory of God, go to His word.

If you want to experience any positive change(s) on or in your body, academics, career or any other area of your life, go to the word of God. The word has the power to transform your physical body in terms of giving you good health or making you special before anybody you come across or making you a blessing to the world. The Glory of God will set you apart for an excellent life in this world.

Another important point is this, the glory that we have today as children of God far exceeds the glory of Moses because the Holy Spirit is now resident in our human spirit. Unlike the days of old where the Holy Spirit comes upon some special people for a season and leaves, we now have the Spirit always indwelling us for the expression of continuous glory. We are walking Tabernacles of God. We have a better Glory.

How much glory do you need in this life? This depends on how much you behold the word of God. As you behold more, you are changed from glory to glory. “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:18).

The Christian of today can do much more because of the special presence of the Holy Spirit in our spirit. Keep beholding, speaking and acting the word. That is where the glory resides for an excellent life on earth. We have a better Glory.
