Cultural practices are very important for Cocoa farms. These are activities undertaken regularly on the farm to ensure good growth of trees for good harvest. Some of these cultural practices include regular weeding; pruning; removal of dead or diseased pods from trees and burying these pods; prevention of stagnant water in cocoa farms; removal of excess shade trees; occasional spraying with recommended agrochemical.
