Independence is required in walking the will of God. We should be careful not to allow our dear relations to divert us from walking in the WILL OF GOD. This may be difficult to do but we must be firm!

The right kind of independence is required in order to know and walk in the will of God. Dependence on God requires independence from people (including some Christians) and possessions.

In conclusion, it is legitimate and important to be sensitive to the world’s needs but on the other side of the coin, we must be careful not be driven only by the needs of the world. We must determine which ones God will want us to meet!
